Bauer junior 2 dive compressor

Where would you recommend installing the dive compressor on a 450.

I want to check out a 450 in a few weeks and am trying to get ideas at this stage.

Re: Bauer junior 2 dive compressor

No idea for a Lagoon, but on our Lightwave 38 we carried it in a container in saloon and moved to rear steps to run when needing to fill tanks. Best option for us.

Bauer junior 2 dive compressor

We installed our Bauer in the stbd sugar scoop, behind the engine. I cut and fit a 3/4" marine plywood board as a level base, glued down with 5200, and it sits well on that. The compressor is secured to the base with two bolts. It was a fairly easy job. A bit of wiggling to get the compressor in. Fortunately the Bauers don't need a lot of servicing but its all accessible on the front side.

We have an electric one, single phase motor that runs nicely on 220V and I just plug it into the stbd aft socket plug next to the bed when we need to use it. Its been a champ!
