4 cabins to 3 cabins mod

Hi there,

anyone ever done or heard of someone modifying a 4 cabins into a 3 cabins 380, or other sizes for that matter?

I asked Lagoon for assistance, had a quick response from a customer rep who said he would chase info from the tech team, but I thought I'd ask here as well to see if what the possible problems could be.

These two are doing it with a lagoon. Might email Ryan and ask him.

Re: 4 cabins to 3 cabins mod

Just to end this thread, Lagoon came back saying they don't know of anyone having done it and do not have any specs to help me doing it.

As expected......

Morwr,
It's not a 2008 discussion, but 2018.....
I actually just bought a 380 and I am going to modify it, starting in Late January.

Re: 4 cabins to 3 cabins mod

Would anyone with an Owner version post pictures of the owners sliding door construction please?

Now that my workshop in the port hull is nearly finished, I am going to start the modifications in the starboard side and It is going to make it a lot easier for me if I can see how Lagoon builds the sliding door.

If you think the pictures are not enough, some measurements and hints will be much appreciated.

Yes, the 380 is different, the steps and the roof ceilings are different shape/size, but your pictures and dimensions are VERY helpful. thanks!!

Re: 4 cabins to 3 cabins mod

Unfortunately, the mods took longer than I anticipated, so i decided to make the boat seaworthy and spend the rest of the summer cruising.
I will continue the mods next winter.

I built a hard top and spent a lot of time straightening the bows.......
