Young Pirate in need of training

Ahoy,
Well, stright off the bat you should probably know that I have no sailing experience. Exploring the world via boat has been a long time dream of mine, and now that I am out of college, I can finally pursue a life of adventure. I have started what I am calling a World Wide Ramble. I just kind of wander from place to place and do everything that catches my fancy and meet as many people as I can.
I'm really excited to get this trip seaside and I'm learning that without experience and connections it's hard to break into this community. So if you have a boat and big heart. I'd love to join you for what ever expedidtions you are willing to take me on. I'd love to hear from as many people as possible, even if you don't have a boat for me to play on, I'd love to hear your stories, and I'd especially love to hear any advice that you all have for an up and coming sea dog.

Why doesn't someone set up Roberts here with one of the crew listing services… after re-reading his post, it seems that would be his way: work his way to his next destination, like that. There is even a "Crew Available" category on this board.
