Wanted, Lady for 103' Motor Yacht
Hi I am looking for someone who has a great sense of humour who can cater for up to 8 people and entertain. This is a paid position and some housekeeping will be involved. The candidate should be presentable and preferably 30 plus. The candidate applying for this position would need a B1B2 visa or help will be provided in obtaining one. Some boating experience is a definate plus. Will consider younger candidates depending on experience.
Position needs to be filled ASAP.
Thankyou.

Otto,
You may want to add the current location of the vessel, and future destinations. If this sight does not find someone for you, there a many crew finder services that can help. Good luck.

Otto. You just broke federal law.
Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), which prohibits employment discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin;
You should pull your ad. BOB

He is asking for a "Lady", but did not specify Female nor what genitalia the Lady must have.
Presumptions like that are called "Sexism"

Sand Crab,
Just putting up an ad for a particular type of person, (in this case, female) does not constitute dsicrimination. If, however, you, as a male, applied for the position with all the qualifications, and were turned down SOLEY because you were a male, that would be discrimination.
Are you looking for that position??

Re: Wanted, Lady for 103' Motor Yacht
Title VII also, however, allows for discrimination based on protected characteristics (except race), when that characteristic is what is called a "Bona Fide Occupational Qualification" (BFOQ). To be a BFOQ, being a member of that group is essential to the job.
Perhaps the OP has a job role in mind that would qualify for BFOQ

Re: Wanted, Lady for 103' Motor Yacht
As far as employment goes anti-discrimination laws are a joke and just an exercise in political correctness. I think only government departments abide by them. (and look at the result of that)
The process of job interviewing is actually a process of:
1. Finding out what they chose to leave out of their CV
2. Discriminating against those prospects who don't fit the employers wish list.
If you think employers don't discriminate. Your dreamin.

Re: Wanted, Lady for 103' Motor Yacht
My sister is interested in the position. I just took this photo of her for your review. She will be driving herself to your yacht at breakneck speed. She comes with her own flotation devices. Once she is on the boat she is a hard worker. Getter her on is the problem. If you can assist her in getting out of the car and onto the boat I think it will work out well for the both of you.
