Ok, how do I start this off?

A couple of weeks ago I decided to throw my cares to the wind and quit my job in NYC and travel south/west/wherever with my girlfriend who started her journey in Paris. We've made it down to Charleston and would love to offer ourselves as help on any boats that may be here or passing by..

I am 27, she is 26. Not much sailing experience but we can make that up in life experience. Both of us are hard workers and not looking for much. Just a cool experience and some bankable knowledge in sailing. It has always been a dream of mine personally.

Any advice would be great. We were recommended to this site my StormSailor who gave us a lift down from Charlotte and a very cool dude.

Thanks! We both know this is a shot in the dark but it's exciting enough to try. If anyone has insight as to additional resources that might help us along that would be much appreciated as well. Or even comments that would keep our thread active is cool too

I have a 34ft. Beneteau in Charleston that I plan to take to the Bahamas this spring but that is as far as the plans have progressed to this point. If you are still in the area when I firm things up more we should talk. Michael

Hi, I have a 45 ft Morgan that I am taking on a three month tour of the Caribbean starting late May with a couple of shakedown voyages between now and then. The boat is in Port St. Lucie, FL and if you are interested and can get yourselves there, it could workout well. Let me know if you are interested.
