I am uncertain about the duties of a first mate but I am wondering if there are any crew positions available for this voyage?

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but here’s a description of a Commercial First Mate’s duties:
OUS -*SHIP'S FIRST MATE

The SHIP'S FIRST MATE assists in the operation of an oceangoing vessel, with primary responsibility for directing and overseeing the work of the deck crew. The First Mate commands the vessel when the Ship's Master is absent or incapacitated...

Hello, Mac.

If you post more info about the duties, you might also include a description of your boat and the route you're planning to take (any stops along the way, for example.) Is this a delivery, or "pleasure cruise". How will expenses be handled? Potential crew like to know these sorts of things.
