If you needed one crew member, not a captain I may be interested, currently in Miami with an open availability.

Re: Transit from Miami to Boston

Hi I'm great sailor I had done couple courses with the coast guard here in Boston I been sailing for more then 10 years around Cape Cod and the Marthas Vineyard. I don't think I have the experience to bring you boat to the east coast but if you need another skiper and good cook I'm the man for the job. Good luck in you search.

Hi,

I teach physics during the Fall and Spring so I have summers off.

Recently, I have taken up sailing. I have some certification as well as some mile-building experience. I am looking for more experience such as you describe. My sailing resume is on1ine at jlynch freeshell org Res Sailing html

I would be interested in crewing once you have found a skipper. Flights to Fla. are cheap and I have family in Boston. My summer begins May 10th.

Best . . .

John

Why do you want joyriders or casual sailors instead of professionals? Are you aware of the advantages and benefits of hiring a professional crew? Are you aware of the challenges and potential problems and liabilities of perusing the internet to find someone to take charge of your 38' yacht for a 2000 mile trip???? Is it simply to save money?
