I'm Doug originally from Tacoma, WA now living in Long Beach, CA on my sailboat. Started sailing in 1982. Bought my first boat in 1987 and have owned boats since 1987. Made trips form LB to Monterey, LB to San Francisco, Seattle to Newport OR, La Paz to LB and two trips from LB to Ensenada. Have you left the NW and are you still looking for crew?

Doug, thank you for your interest in participating in this voyage. Currently everything is on hold as I received orders (I'm an active duty Marine) to Okinawa Japan instead of Camp Pendleton like I expected. I'm trying hard to modify them but no idea odds of success. I do have one crew member already on standby but would like to have a total of 3 including myself for the trip should I manage to pull it off so I will definitely keep your email and let you know if anything favorable develops.

Take the boat to Okinawa with you excellent opertunities to sail to great ports on little notice there think hong Kong Singapore and let's not forget Thailand.

Congrats on your Okinawa assignment. I was stationed there for ten years. Kadena Marina has sailboats you can rent, mostly Capri 18's. Did you get crew yet? I am in Olympia, Wa
