Crew Wanted: SW FL to the Bahamas and back mid July, or Dry Tortugas if bad weather

I am looking for one to two crew for a trip leaving Fort Myers Beach Sunday July 15 returning July 29 or so.

Well kept Westsail 28.

I am 29 and would like my crew to be 20-30s, or very young at heart.

We sail as long as we make 4 knots, less then 4 we motor sail.

First leg is from Fort Myers Beach to under the Marathon 7 Mile Bridge, 24 hours nonstop, then out into the Gulf Stream, and another 24 hours to Bimini. Yes, 48 hours at sea.

A day in Bimini relaxing and stocking up on Bimini bread and rum, then a day sail over to Chub Cay area of the Berry Islands.

The next 5-7 days we gunk hole north around the Berrys. Then back to Bimini, and back heading home.

Boat has a auto pilot, and should have a Monitor vane by then. Real refrigeration, modern safety gear, fans, Sirius radio, etc.

Split costs of food, fuel, customs, etc.

Laid back trip of relaxing, drinking, fishing, snorkeling. Not staying in any marinas.

If there is a hurricane or anything else unforeseen then we skip the Bahamas and sail to the Dry Tortugas, which I got back from yesterday.

DANG! Wish I could go wit ya Sean, but not only am I not 20-30s, but my soul feels even older than my 50 years..probably about 92. Maybe this bump will find ya somebody though ;-)

And anyways, since my girl saw all those pretty girls that hang around on your boats, I didn't even bother asking.

We do that trip from Cape Coral several times a year. Do NOT forget Joes Conch Salad in Alice Town.

Name is Jack. I'm 20. If you still need two crew, a buddy and I are probably good to go (depending on details.). I just sailed South Africa to Brazil, got home to the States last week. Been wanting to make a Bimini run for a while. We're both experienced sailors and I have a ton of bluewater miles. All my own gear, etc. Time at sea is no problem, I've spent weeks on the open ocean. Sounds like a sick trip.
