Okay I ment I can drive you there in my car with a blindfold on but it's way up on the east cost of Bali and you need big swell for it to break and I found out a little bit fluky but can be good on the right day do you know where Jasri is? Close to there. c-man. How can I post a pic?

Uep,i know where you mean, we went and stayed at Amed for a week at Easter time, great part of Bali.
I surfed Keremas on the way back and it was disgusting in the water, rubbish everywhere.

Re: Surfing Crew Wanted Banyaks Nias Indonesia, Share Costs
OK, so we do not have any committed crew as yet!
Passage starts at 1st November and finishes on or before 14th November 2015. You pay your own air fares to Indonesia and from Thailand to wherever! No onboard costs or money changes hands!
If anyone wants a FREE 7 day sailing/surfing trip back from Nias island in Sumatra to Phuket in Thailand then please drop me an email at keithstirling1 at gmail.com
SURFMACHINE: Threading the needle at the top of Sumatra! and Watch keeping aboard Surfmachine whilst passage making.
It would be about 7 days, with 4 days of sailing with a day stop at Banda Aceh for fuel and provisions. While we wait for a suitable weather window to cross the Malaccan Straits from Banda Aceh to Phuket. Normally 48 hours non stop.
You could join the yacht in Lagundri Bay on Nias Island, in early November, by flying to Medan in Sumatra from KL in Malaysia and then 45 minutes to Guning Sitoli, then 3 hour van ride to Lagundri Bay. Great surfing here, one of the best right hand waves in the world. We finish in Phuket on or before the 14th November.
SURFMACHINE: Captain Keith scores a few right handers at Lagundri Bay, Treasure island and The Bay of Plenty at Treasure island, Sumatra.
We then sail for Afulu on the NW tip of Nias, overnight in a great anchorage and then sail to Bangkaru or treasure island and surf there and wait for good weather to sail up the west coast of Sumatra and get around the top of Sumatra to Banda Aceh. We wait there for good weather to sail direct to Phuket. Which is a fun city to visit!!
SURFMACHINE: Sailing from Phuket to Banda Aceh at the top of Sumatra in May 2015
Crew would depart at Phuket and get a 30 day visa on arrival, free.
We will cover all food expenses and crew would be expected to stand 4 hour watches, mainly at night in rotation with captain. Boat is easily handled with AIS..touch screen chartplotter..great radar with warnings for obstacles...advanced autopilot..protected helm. No hand steering involved, just look out and monitor shipping close by, monitor ship's systems.
What do you reckon?
Cheers from Keith.
