St Thomas, USVI to Annapolis - Late April

The boat is an offshore equiped Hylas 47 and the skipper is a 200 ton Master with unlimited Ocean rating as well as a qualified sailing instructor. Both boat and skipper have done the trip several times before.

You handle your travel to and from the boat, and all on board expenses are covered.

This is generally a 12 day trip, 1500 miles in mild conditions at this time of the year. Departure from St Thomas around 26 April.

An excellent opportunity for people looking for sea time and for coastal sailors ready for offshore work. You must not be prone to seasickness, must be able to stand night watch alone after proper instruction, and cooking is done on rotation.

Please contact Captain Louise at: sailingwmn at gmail dot com and indicate your sailing experience.

We look forward to sailing with you.

Re: St Thomas USVI to Annapolis late April

I would be interested in this trip. I have limited offshore experience. However I have completed ASA courses 101, 103, 104, 105(Coastal Navigation), and 106 (Advanced Coastal Cruising). I am a good cook. How many crew are you planning on?

Just noticed you post. sounds interesting. See my sailing experience on my profile. I can leave after Easter if you still need a crew.

Is this a straight shot, or will you be stopping somewhere along the way?

I would imagine they've left by now. I've done this in the other direction. It's a good, bluewater trip.
