St. Martin - Alicante (Med, Spain) TransAt from 5th May, 2010

Hi, the boat is back over to the med again on its 8th transatlantic. Shared costs - i pay boat costs that i'd pay if going solo - you pay the extra costs of you - mainly your flights. We share food costs, likely $12 per day ish. Total trip duration including few days prep etc is five weeks from meeting up at SMX on 5th May. We share cooking and bad jokes. Youthful enthusiasm is important or perhaps even more important than some types of boating experience. You don't need to have done a transat but you do need to know you don't get seasick much. Pm if interested. Thanks!

atlantic crew available

sailor from west coast Canada looking to cross Atlantic. Have circumnavigated Vancouver Island and sailed from Vancouver to Glacier
Bay Alaska, transferred a 54 Hunter from Los Angeles to Vancouver
as skipper with only new owner as crew, raced in Mediterranean
and transferred from Italian coast to Sardegna. Currently live aboard
Ranger sailboat. No ocean offshore experience but can handle heavy
seas and have done many overnight passages. Easy going and
capable.

Bit more info - google for mojomo and you'll find our blogs with mailasail that i update on these crossings.

On youtube i am tcmvideo1, and there's a slideshow

Otherwise the boat has plenty of gear for safe and comfy living on board - 160lph watermaker, generator etc etc

Hi,
I am a 40-year-old sailor from İstanbul, Turkey. I have sailed along Turkish Aegean and Mediterranean coast for more than 25 years. Sailed from Marseilles to İstanbul. I do not have ocean passage experience. I am electrical engineer. I am interested in participating in your next ocean crossing. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
