South America to French Polynesia
Happy go lucky female, 30, Currently in Peru looking to crew west across the pacific, part or all way to NZ, ready to leave when you are.... any takers?
Hi Liz, Atoll has it all in a nutshell......cruisers are NOT crossing in the hurricane season ( Nov/ Feb approx) and my advise to you is don't jump on any boat that is!!
Prehaps re - evaluate your timetable to be in NZ....or fly!
you might try getting down to ushaia in chile, the season is just starting there for cruising patagonia/antartica, then a few boats leave there in feb- march for the falklands and points north.
not in the right direction, but a lot closer than fiji if you want to get some sailing in...

Re: South America to French Polynesia
cheers for the ideas ...I need to be in NZ for late Feb\March to meet family etc otherwise Ushuia would be an attractive option... thinking of flying out to Tahiti or wherever´s cheapest to get to to in French Polynesia then hopping a boat from there west.. the search continues
