Re: San Diego to La Paz, Mexico

i will be in california (orange)on may 2, the date of may 13th is possible, i am a licensed captain 100gross tons whose sailing experience is limited to sloops in the 30 foot range and the longest trip was from new york to rhode island.

i have been looking for a boat to buy and sail and actually looked at one in la paz via the net.

the skinny on cruising i am being told is not the boat but the sailor and this trip would provide me with much needed experience.

can you provide more details and we can plan a ftf after may 2nd.

i will be arriving from panama on 5/2/2013

Being a Wharram man the first thing that popped into my mind was one of his boats.. but they're only 35ft... so I did a search and found this. Tangaroa history
But I don't think so...

Re: San Diego to La Paz, Mexico

Hi Michael,

I have about a year experience in the Caribeans islands on private motor yachts and references. I will be in San Diego around May 10th and I am looking to get more experience on sailing boats. I can cook without problems, I am in good shape and I am open to Canadian jokes (but I do have a valid Canadian passport). I am very interested by your itinerary and look forward earring from you…

Cheers!
