Sailing partners wanted for local trips around Texas coast

I have a Morgan 37 which I wish to sail on short trips out of Port Aransas, TX: Such as trips to Galveston, Port Lavaca, Port Author, and (maybe) New Orleans. The boat is well equipped and can handle three people.
I enjoy guest, and need additional hands. The boat expense I will handle, provisions will be equally divided, your shore costs are yours. Young, retired or between is fine…one or couple is fine…experience or new…as long as you can stand your watch after learning when to call out when needed. I use the boat as a floating condo, which you are also welcome.
For some time, I will day sail, and extend distance as experience and time allows. Please contact me if interested.

Re: Sailing partners wanted for local trips around Texas coast

Howdy Joestar, my wife and I would definitely be interested in joining you. We're just up the road from you in Austin and have a place on lake LBJ where we sail our Catalina 22 most every weekend.

We've recently completed ASA 101 and have a liveaboard class scheduled in the BVIs for 103/104 in June. We'd be very interested in getting in some coastal sails on a bigger boat like your Morgan. Maybe we can sync-up sometime and go from there.

Thanks
EB

Re: Sailing partners wanted for local trips around Texas coast

Hello Joe,

I'm in Kemah, I did the Harvest Moon last year and with that my offshore sailing came to 2600 miles. If you want to sail up to Galveston, let me know. I would think that the route north would look pretty much like the route south.

Cheers,

Scomo

Howdy Joe,

I sent you a PM, just wanted to ensure you had the right email and phone # info. Hope we can work out the details and get a weekend trip together soon.

Thanks
