Single crew to assist in 14 day sail from Lagundri Bay in Nias Island Indonesia to Phuket in Thailand. Best for surfers, no sailing experience needed.

Free trip for crew who can stand watches at night in rotation with skipper. Skipper and wife aboard 40 foot aluminium sloop. Crew has their own private forward double cabin. All meals and onboard costs met by skipper.

Crew pays their own air fares and visa costs to Indonesia and from Thailand back home.

Trip starts first week in November 2015 and finishes on or before 14th November 2015. 7 days sailing time but we take 2 weeks with stops for surfing at
Lagundri bay
Bawa in hinakos islands
Afulu on nias
Treasure island or palau bangkaru
bay of plenty in the banyak islands, or palau tuangku

Longest sail is 48 hours from palau bankgaru to Banda Aceh, then another 48 hours across the malaccan straits to phuket.

Join the yacht in nias, fly to Kuala Lumpur from home, then medan and then gunning sitoli on nias, about 45 usd. Then 4 hour minivan trip to lagundri bay.

The Crew spot has been filled.

I am stuck in lagundri Bay with perfect overhead right hand surf. Thirteen set waves this arvo before dinner ashore with my beautiful wife.

Installed the new p70 raymarine autopilot control head yesterday to replace the failed st70.

Off to Sibolga on Sunday for another visa extension.

Have crew already lined up. A 26 year old Irish lady. Scuba diver.
New autopilot was a blast! Great sail to and from Sibolga. 21 hours non stop each way. Lotsa stormy weather. Good surf at Lagundri Bay nias yesterday and this morn. Going to 6'.
Will stay here for 3 weeks and head off to the Banyaks and then Thailand.
