We went Durban to Cape Town in Jan., and left Cape Town in Feb. to Salvador, Brazil via St Helena. Wouldn't want to do it in winter, no, no. Sitting in warm Caribbean now. Have fun!

Re: richardsbay to capetown

Hi, Morne.

Have found crew for your Richards Bay to Cape Town trip? Have you got room for one more? I saw your post yesterday and the idea is getting more appealing by the minute. At present I am hanging around in Pretoria with nothing to do and after two months of this am gagging for some fresh sea air.

I've got my yachtmaster's and coastal skipper's tickets, but have never sailed on a catamaran before. I will do what I'm told, am fully housebroken and reliable.

Do you have much to do to get your boat ready for the trip? Do you need a couple of days help with that?

Are you still on to leave on the 20th? Where are planning to stop along the way, if at all? Can you tell me anything about your boat?

Best wishes
Dave Cross

Re: Richardsbay to Capetown

hey morne,
elena and i are looking to leave cape town by boat between oct 20th till nov 14th.

you wrote something about brazil?

i don't have much sea time, but my head is on my shoulders and im a quick learner, and i finished my coastal skipper license recently.

elena sailed a few times before, and is very practical and handy person, and can clean, cook, give massages and learn how to do everything.

if it is relevant, please write to me to gadlivne@gmail.com
