Crew Available: Ready to go, January and beyond!

If things go right I will have some blue water experience by January as I have a couple of things lined up now.

I have owned large boats 30-55' for many years and need some cruising and offshore experience. I am pretty handy with most boat maintenance (the 55' was wood built in 1936, the 30' was ferrocement, the rest glass, all diesels).

I am a married guy but will be solo for the trip(s), my wife says "have fun, and don't be gone ALL the time". The exception to this is she MIGHT come along if we are sailing only in protected water, on a catamaran, or a power boat.

I am retired military so I understand who is in control on YOUR boat!! I am also very reliable, have completed ASA sailing courses through bare boat chartering, and have a valid passport.

I would prefer to stay on board for a few days before and/or after to enjoy the experience and make the travel expenses worthwhile. Of course I prefer warmer weather sailing, but that doesn't rule out a colder weather departure or arrival!

I forgot to add, I quit the smoking habit 24 years ago, I love my rum but only when joining in with someone else, and I am healthy, strong, and relatively fit (for an old guy!f ha ha)

Oh yeah, and maybe most important is that half my bloodline is Norwegian heritage!!!
