- Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention
- Elementary First Aid
- Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities
- VHF Short Range Radio Operator license

- 2.5 yr. experience in marine tourism, cruising and racing yachts 46 - 86 ft.
- 1 yr. experience as delivery crew, 55 ft. catamaran and 43 ft. schooner
- 5000+ nm offshore sea mileage
- 400+ full time days sea service
