Puerto Rico-All Leeward-Windward then to Aruba

35 foot sailboat in Puerto Rico trip through the islands then to Aruba.

You will have to be able to support yourself and somebody must be mechanically minded.

This is a good opportunity to know the Caribbean Islands.

The vessel has it's own mooring that may be lifted before departure.

After the trip I will sell the vessel on credit or rent it to someone

Anyone interested? Please send details

There is no time frame so let's put three years. This is a job for somebody who wants to travel the islands and who has enough money to support themselves. Now and then I might give them a ring to pick me up somewhere.Basically this depends on what you want. I own the boat but dont have enough time to sail so I need somebody to sail it for me but with no expenses on my part

Hi, are you still looking for crew. We are a married couple looking to move from UK to Dom Rep where we own an apartment on the beach. We have had a five year plan to move over permanently and sail around the islands. We are just about ready to leave the UK so when are you hoping to set sail? Both of us are Skippers and have experience but we dont have a boat. Good cooking and music thrown in!

Hello Jackie,

I am also from sunny England, This is a maybe as the people who have applied do not know how to sail. You can use my boat and take them sailing and then we can see what happens. It is in Puerto Rico so should be able to work something out. If you can give me some dates for your trip that would be good. Let me know your email and I will give you a call.

Sorry my man there are no amenities aboard the vessel. soap and water come later.

There is a 50hp engine.dinghy and outboard and the necessary for a trip around the Caribbean. The draught is what one would expect for a 35 foot sailboat and the head is in good condition.

See you in St Baarts.

LOL.. Big engine for a 35' sailboat.... nice... a 35' sailboat can have a draft from 3.5 to 7 ft... depending on the boat style and where it was intended to sail...

Could be a ketch or a sloop.... Lot of factors I would look at before jumping...

And on the other hand I wouldn't let just anyone go OFF with it... Well good luck...

Hi John, all sounds a bit cryptic. Who are the other people who can't sail? What is the make of boat, condition etc. But anyway we plan to be in Dom Rep by February 2013. We plan to be living there for a few years, with no plans to return to England. If you want to mail us best try eagleicol@gmail.com. Be interested to see exactly what you have in mind.

We will be in DR in February with no plans to return to UK for a few years. This is a second post as the first contained a mail address that the moderator might not let through
