Panama to Tahiti or beyond

Looking for an experienced crew for pacific crossing

Easy going couple from germany in our thirties wants to head for the pacific next season.
Because we a relatively new to sailing (2000 miles) we are looking for an experienced crew to add the necessary safety for this trip.
We will arrive in Panama around Christmas time and want to set sail to the Marquesas mid/end of February.
The Yacht is a fully equipped Baltic 42, 2 cabin version, in ready to go condition…
The boat is big enough for 4 persons, so if you are a couple or two friends, there´s enough space
Experience and fun is what we expect
Shared costs on board...

We are looking forward to your mails...

Fatima & Sebastian

Re: Panama to Tahiti or beyond

Hello Fatima and Sebastian. I am very interested in joining you on your trip. I am single and easy going, in my late 40s and have sailed numerous times on the West coast of Canada. My open water experience is from 3 months sailing in the Indian Ocean and Red Sea. I am not a captain but hope to get my intermediate cruising certification next year.

I love sailing, the ocean and people, not necessarily in that order.

Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions (I would prefer email).

I look forward to hearing from you,

Brent

Re: Panama to Tahiti or beyond

Hello Fatima & Sebastian,

As I said in my reply to your "Panama/Tahiti" posting I am very interested in becoming a part of it. I am a retired Postmaster, Married, financially secure with a very adventuresome sole. I have been sailing most of my life and have recently updated my trainings which include the new ISAF Safety at Sea Training.

After retirement I became both a Professional Ski Instructor and a Professional Golf Instructor along with taking courses in Gourmet Cooking & Baking.

I feel that I would be an asset to your boat and look forward to communicating with you.

Thank You,
Larry Langway

Re: Panama to Tahiti or beyond

Hello Fatima & Sebastian,

I'm interested to know if you are still looking for crew and would it be possible to meet with you and in Panama?

I am currently in Costa Rica but arriving in Panama city tomorrow to start looking or a boat to cross the Pacific.

I am 21 years old from Scotland, I have good sailing experience from sailing across the Atlantic, in the Caribbean and Europe. I am a helpful and friendly crew member who is easy to get along with. I would be interested to join you to Tahiti with the possibility of continuing further.

Please contact me if you are interested, I can send you more information about myself and my experience as you wish.

I hope to hear from you soon
Kindest regards
Colin

Hello Fatima & Sebastian,
I may be wrong, but i believe you will need a very very very experienced crew as your timing wood indicate to me that your going to be heading straight into cyclone season . good luck with that
