Panama Canal Transit

"Will crew for beer". My wife and I will be in Panama from Nov 15 to Dec 1, 2013 and are looking for a boat who would like a couple extra hands on their transit through the canal (either way). We are both experienced sailors/racers, but would happily go through on either power or sailboat. If you will be heading through in during this time and would like some free help please contact me.

Yes, I think so! That is exactly when I plan to be at the canal, and would love the assistance.

Re: Panama Canal Transit

That sounds great. It looks from your blog that you are from Vancouver. We are actually from Seattle, just down the road and we keep our boat up in the San Juan Islands. We were just up in Victoria for the Swifture Internation Yacht Race last month. Are you going to do the Baja Haha on you way south?

Sorry- I didn't mean to mislead you. The boat is in BC, bu I'm actually still in DC, and won't be able to get out there for at least a month. I'd like to do the Coho, or at least move the boat to Astoria for a couple of months and return the midatlantic to wrap up some things before heading back out to complete the passage later in the year.
