Hi there, we are Russell and Diane, an Aussie and a Kiwi who now live in Panama City. We are both experienced sailors, and have already completed multiple transits through the Panama Canal on various yachts, and even some tugboats and cruise ships.
We thoroughly enjoy transiting through the canal, and are happy to help any yachts make the most of their experience. You can pay for linehandlers through the agents and you might get a Panamanian who knows little about yachting and probably doesn't speak English. We can explain the procedure, describe some of the history and point out the sights, all for the price of our expenses and a few drinks when the work is done.
We are available almost any time, and we live walking distance from the Balboa Yacht Club, and a bus and taxi away from the Shelter Bay Yacht Club.
