I am a 67 YO French man ,presently living in San Diego , who will be leaving in March , on a 35 ft Allied Seabreeze ,for the Marquesas .
I am planning to singlehanded , unless the right friendly crew shows up before then....

My partner (Louis, from France) and I are looking for a boat to sail from California across to the Pacific Islands. We were initially looking into Hawai'i but have heard that the Marquesas are breathtaking.

We recently crewed a boat (for the first time) from Saltsping Island, British Columbia down to Santa Cruz. It was a 9 day trip through some pretty extreme weather conditions. We learned a fair bit and are keen on more sailing trips.
