Offshore Practice

I am looking to move my boat from Victoria to Mexico in August 2011. I am looking for some Offshore Practice before I make the move. If anyone needs an extra hand out of Victoria let me know.

As well, I will require an extra hand when I am ready to move the boat south. I own a 35' custom sloop. (The boat has made the journey from Alaska to Mexico before, previous owners.)

Have you considered taking the boat on a 3day cruise strait upwind? A couple days of that will give you some experience and help you find problems with the boat. Also, you'll get a fun ride home.

get to san diego by oct 31, then go to mexico in the post hurricane season--as with the baja haha--try cruising with some of those folks?? august is a bit early to leave for mexico, as they are capable of having serious bad weather at this time of year.
