Re: October, 2012 - Genoa, Italia
My name is Michael Beitenhaus. I live in Cincinnati Ohio but have lived and sailed extensively on the east coast of the United States. I lived in Europe for five years so have some experience with languages and cultures other than my own. I speak English and French but unfortunately not Italian (my wife does.) Coincidentally, we were in Sorrento and Capri last October. Also, I have some time off from work at the beginning of October and would like very much to sail from Genoa. Let me know if I can be of help. E-mail me please if you would like my phone numbers.
Here is a synopsis of my sailing experience.
>
> I have been sailing in some form (sunfish and lightnings on Cape Cod) since
> 1969
> In the past decade we have owned and sailed in South Carolina a Hunter 25,
> an O’day 30 and a S2 36.
> My wife and I plan to bareboat charter in Croatia and the BVI in the future
> so in 2006 I completed ASA certifications in Basic Keelboat, Basic Coastal
> Cruising, Bareboat Chartering, and Coastal Navigation.
I have also done some boat deliveries including night coastal sailing and navigation.

Re: October, 2012 - Genoa, Italia
HI I am an Australian travelling in Slovenia right now, I was just in Italy for to hike in Valle D'Aosta and visit friends in Torino. Italy is a marvellous country!
I am an experienced sailor, an excelent cook and have many other great skills fixing things, teaching people how to dance Salsa, speak Spanish, do yoga etc.
I am also happy to pay my share of expenses as I think its fair
Please contact me if you would like to invite me on board.
With thanks, Simeon

Re: October, 2012 - Genoa, Italia
A physically, fit enthusiastic, British male wanting to learn more about the boating world and gain experience in sailing. Last may i crewed a 40 ft sailing yacht, hoping to sail from Bordeaux to Turkey, but complications including crew and weather conditions cut the trip out short. I'm hoping to become an officer in the Royal Marines, in which a high level of fitness, strength and teamwork are crucial, as I know are also within a sailing environment. I would consider myself a fast learner and have a skill of being able to blend into any environment quickly. I'm very easy to get along with and would ensure a happy and friendly crew mate, work hard, play harder!(in some cases). My enthusiasm and a passion for learning and gaining new experiences makes me an ideal candidate to be part of your crew, if your willing to teach me you can ensure a reliable future crew member, on call!
