Noumea, New Caledonia to Brisbane

I'm about to set sail from Noumea to Australia when the weather is right and would welcome an individual or a couple to join me on what should be about a 5 or 6 day sail to Australia. Most likely clearing into Brisbane. My boat is relatively new and in good condition. You don't need to be an old salt, just have the ability to reliably keep watch. Er.. also, clean, tidy and no illegal drugs.

Re: Noumea, New Caledonia to Brisbane

Hi Simmo

I am a 50 year old Aussie male . I sail a 17 ft fractional rigged sloop .I am an aviator, so understand navigation, have worked night shift so can keep watch .I am looking to get sea miles under my belt as I wish to get a larger boat to sail the Pacific .
I am easy going and can get along with people . I have been in 5 meter seas and have so far not been sea sick . So I will see how that goes
have sailed from Samoa to Vanuatu to New Zealand this year.
the earliest I could fly in to Noumea is 1/12/2014.

Hope that he left some time ago, for ther are two incipient cyclones in the northern Coral Sea right now! It is getting very late in the season for this passage, Marc.
