Mexico to Australia

Hi.
I have a Formosa 41, well equiped (boat has done 2 circumnavigations already) and intend sailing it from Mexico (Sea of Cortez) to Australia (probably Brisbane) from December onwards (weather dependant). Maybe 1 or 2 stops only as short of time.

Would prefer a couple but will look at indivduals. Pay for your own air tickets and say $30 week for basic food.

Anyone interested PM me.

Tony

I have a strong interest and will most likely will be ready to bail out (of apartment, responsibilities, etc) by then if I've planned for it. Please drop me a note when convenient. Sorry, but not 1/2 of a couple.

Thanks

I'd hate to think of what the menu will consist of for $30 per week!

Hi Tony,

Your request has my interest. I'm a 31 year old sailor from Canada who has spent the majority of last year sailing in the caribbean (various regattas), transatlantic devlivery (virgin islands to Turkey) and some more racing for a season in Ireland.

I do have an online page about me (see my homepage under my profile). If anything intruigues you, feel free to write back.

Thanks,

Mark

Perhaps our wakes will cross somewhere along the way. My wife, daughter and I are planning a similar route, however, at this writing, our tentative itinerary has us heading for mainland Mexico and jumping off from Puerto Vallarta towards the Marquesas in April of next year, then through the South Pacific, leaving Fiji for New Zealand around the end of October/early November of 2011.

I'm radio active so it quite likely you'll hear me on one of the nets. I wish you and your crew safe travels, fair winds and calm seas.

Mexico to Oz

Hi Everyone.

The trip is definately going ahead. I have had some replies via PM, but no commitments as yet. Currently i am in England but will be in the States from September the 6th. I shall be touring the States by car for a couple of weeks before going down to the boat in Mexico. I would like to meet any potential crew mates so please get in touch with me before I leave.
