Meteorologist Looking to take some Time Off

Hey all,

Looking to get some serious cruising experience prior to investing in my own boat. My experience has been mostly been on the Great Lakes racing and taking a NOLS sailing course on the Sea of Cortez. I earned my sea legs though working on oceanographic surveys off the coast of Alaska with a total of approx. 8 months at sea.

Currently I work on contract doing more aviation forecasts, but have previously done marine forecasts. My current contract it up Oct 15, and would be able to take 3 months to help out on a cruise to anywhere!

I love the great coincidences on this forum. A new guy (Post No. 1) gets an immediate reply from another new guy's post No. 1. Gotta love this place.
