Melbourne and/or Adelaide

Hi there,

I'm a 25yo Belgian who is in Australia atm visiting some friends in Adelaide and Melbourne. I'm restoring an old steel classic and prepping her for a transatlantic voyage back home.

I hadnt fully realized it would be summer on this side of the globe, and now I find myself itching to spend some time on the water.

Its a very long shot, but are there any Ozzie sailors around with plans to go out at all in or between either cities in the next few weeks?

Cheers, Ben

Ben,

I am always up for a sail. Drop me a PM when you get to Adelaide.

Our boat is old and slow but pretty comfortable and the fridge keeps the beer cold.

Matt

Hi Ben, Your timing could be fine as I may need one crew next week (Monday 22nd) to sail Geelong, Gippsland Lakes, Kiama then end in Sydney. Allow 10 days to 2 weeks. Nice 42 foot mono.
Regards Michael.

Hi guys,

Thanks very much for all your replies. I had a great time having a daysail out with GILow, and am now back in frigid Europe.
