That luggage sounds pretty heavy...
Try posting a pic.. give the guys some incentive.. eye candy is always appreciated by sailors..

Re: Med to Sea of Cortez....Via Carribbean y Panama

Um, no skills prone to seasick, looking for a free ride of convenience. You were asked to post a picture or explain why you should be accepted as crew yet provide neither.

Then you repeatedly bump the thread, which is against the forum rules, to no avail for what purpose?

Perhaps you should post a picture, explain why someone should take someone who is prone to seasickness and who has no skills on a transoceanic passage with them, or possibly consider posting elsewhere? Like say Megayachtforum.com?

Might have better luck seeing as how I don't think anybody here has a Mega Yacht to begin with. Mostly family cruisers around here who need people with at the very least basic life skills like cooking and doing dishes and not barfing everywhere or maybe a willingness to contribute to the kitty lil bit.

I think it's sad that the only quality about yourself that you present is that you are female. What the hell kind of name is boatbunny? Is that supposed to be an enticement? You seem like a slacker. Not surprised no one is inviting you on their boat.

Hey, wait a minute. No picture, no background info, gets seasick but wants to take a boat across an ocean? Are you on some kind of no-fly-list?

Re: Med to Sea of Cortez....Via Carribbean y Panama

My apologies about the repeated bumping. I was unaware of that rule.
But thank you for the tip on the Megayacht site. I was unaware of that one also.
If this is a family cruising site, which is what I thought it was, then why would I need to post an "eye candy" photo?
I asked people to PM me who were actually planning to make portions or all of that journey so that we could further discuss which skills I am able to contribute.
and Sea-sickess does not always = barfing.... but I could see why that would be problematic on a smaller yacht.
But aside from all that... it appears my puffing efforts managed to a least roast a few peanuts in the gallery. ;-)
Thanks again

Gimmie break please. If you were both "experienced and highly qualified as a Leisure Consultant" as you claim to be you would know nobody pays for those services sight unseen useless it's phone or web based.

Ok. Thanks for the sentiment.
If your friend "nobody" happens to have a yacht and is traveling my way... please send him or ger a link to this thread so we can further discuss.
Thanks again.

You dont need to post "eye candy" photo for families, I think they are not interested in that. ( oh.... maybe some swingers)
I have to give you a point for being honest, this really counts.
Im running a charter boat, and very often I have proposition from people:
free trip in exchange for work.
And..... having people without experience, throwing up all over, and being seasick, and not able to help me with anything, is no fun at all.
Why Im taking somebody "for free" and need to take care of that person ?
Im not mother Teresa.
No experience in sailing, seasickness - ok, honest, but maybe you should write about your skills, you can contribute to the boat/ boat owner, to make your offer attractive?
Maybe you are good mechanic? Electrician ? Maybe you can fix sails? Varnish?
Or at least: clean the bilge, clean the hull, maybe you are good cook?
Some skills to make your offer a little attractive, or .... just topless photo ( Im straight woman, so you would not buy me with it, but in some cases it would work )
Good luck.

Can anyone tell me how to add picture here. There is picture on profile but I had to upload one to my post. Maybe BoatBunny has the same problem. Lets just say I am better at sailing than using devices.

Thanks for the post and for the good Luck.
I am willing and able to contribute skills, but I need first to be sure that the destinations are compatible.
Thanks again
