Crew Available: Looking to Sail from California to Hawaii !

Hi there, my name is Maria and I'm looking to get on a boat from California to Hawaii sometime around November.

It's my dream to sail, and I've lived in Hawaii on and off for the past couple years, living on a boat and sailing between the islands so I've got my sea legs and now I just want to learn as much as possible. I'm good with my hands, a fast learner, can cook, clean etc.

The Latitude 38 has a crew list and they'll email your submission to all of the prospective captains on their list. I've been in a boatyard in the SF Bay area for 3 months and every sailor that I've talked to that's been anywhere has been to Hawaii. Lots of boats leaving here for there so I think it's a great place to start from. A woman who cooks should have no troubles finding a quality situation.

Not the best time to make that passage, so there will be fewer rides than if you had asked in thesummer months. Not impossible, though, so good luck. It can be a nice passage.
