New England based sailor with over fifteen years experience of coastal cruising as Captain. New Jersey to Maine cruising with own vessel , Bahamas, Virgin Islands and St Vincent-Grenadines cruising with charter vessel.

O'Day 23, four years.
Catalina 27, five years.
Pearson Invicta 38, seven years.

Maintained all boats as DIY. Knowledge includes diesel and gasoline auxiliaries and generators, refrigeration systems, fiberglass repair, rigging and deck systems, propane, pluming systems and electrical and electronic systems. Proficient in anchoring, docking, sail handling and coastal navigation.

I am a fifty y/o married male, physically fit with no health issues. I am looking for offshore experience before wife and I begin cruising hopefully fall 2014.

Not looking for paid position and air flight and provisioning are negotiable.
