Crew Wanted: Looking for gay young man with a sailing dream

Have boat, want to travel. Looking for a crew mate who shares my dream of sailing the sunny south. My boat is located in San Diego and she is going to need some sorting out first. Then on to the Sea of Cortez, Matzatlan, Puerto Vallarta and points south. If you are fit, handy with boat systems (or willing to learn), don't get seasick or smoke, age 25 to 50, and share my dream please contact me. Me: 50, gay, above average fit, working delivering boats for others, now its our turn. The right mate may also be asked to crew with me in future deliveries as well.

Anyway, Mr. Henry assuming your post is legitimate I'd suggest posting an ad in the San Diego Craigslist as it looks like you are wanting a local person. Orientations aside, working relationships on a boat are tough enough without the pressure of distance added to the mix. I suspect that anyone who would doubt that has never had the pleasure of working with an AH in a situation where you couldn't leave and he couldn't leave for X number of days.

My post is legit, and have you seen Craigslist? Not the place for any legitimate search for a sailing partner. I have sailed many fun and memorable crossings with friends, and I have jumped ship at the next harbor to get away from AHs, my orientation was never an issue. For a guy to come to SD is not such a commitment to help out getting the boat shipshape, and see how we get along BEFORE finding out too late and too far from shore. I'm going south, just don't see myself being as happy singlehanding. Thus my posting this. Please spare me the critiquing. I am sincere.
