Crew Wanted: Looking for experienced help from Oriental NC to Mobile AL

I am selling my Catalina 38 (S&S designed IOR racer/cruiser) and have a prospective buyer in Mobile Alabama. He is checking on overland rates to ship her but would love to help with a water delivery. I am not sure of his experience level.

I would be willing to assist either part way or all the way around. I have limited experience but have completed ASA 101,102, and 103, been sailing in protected water for many years and helped with one delivery from Oriental to Florida.

He can't or doesn't want to pay for a high dollar Captain but someone that has cruising near offshore along the coast and has enough experience to get around safely. He IS willing to pay to have it done but I think he is wanting to keep the expenses as low as possible (maybe a grand or two???)

I might be able to help you, I have experience on blue water about 1,500nm, but I need to know when, what kind of electronic equipment do you have, and I'm from Canada, I thing if pay my plane back and forth and my meal I'll be OK, that could be very funny.
