pirate Looking for a Ride Out of Cuba

1 experienced delivery sailor/yachmaster + 1 professional chef = 2 fun and easygoing sisters looking for some sailing around/ off cuba.
We will be in cuba on holiday in Decmeber/January and are looking to leave early jan to head towards the mainland- bay of islands, mexico, something like that... not too worried about where we end up as long as it's the northern end of central america...
We both dive, are easy to get along with, and are happy to exchange professional services and/ or contribute to expenses (hopefully a portion of our contribution could come in the form of work...to be discussed I suppose...)

If you're going to be in the area, and think you could put up with having a couple of gals onboard who love to cook great food and know their way around a boat, let me know!!

Cheers,

Elize

Canada.

How long were you in cuba for? What did you think? Do you think there will there be many cruisers around in Dec/Jan? I'm still trying to collect info for planning this trip...
Thanks for your input,

Cheers,

Elize

I was there for a week, fly in, fly out.

Never made it down to Marina Hemingway, so don't know how many cruisers were coming in or out.

Would you be flying in from Canada? Are you looking for work, or just passage somewhere else?

Sailing to and from Cuba

There are more boats planning on Cuba this winter.
Are you looking for a ride to and from Cuba?

Hi-
I'm flying into Cuba, and then hoping to find a ride out to the mainland- not work, just holiday and a bit of sailing, but happy to work for passage.
I"m not really familiar with the scene there either, is Marina Hemingway the best place to start looking?

cheers,

E

Title: Sailing Cuba

Marina Hemmingway would be your best choice to find sailing boats leaving Cuba. There are of course other Marinas that are Ports of Entry.
The best place to catch a ride is Panama.
If you want to work on a boat, mine is available and would appreciate your attention.
