Crew Wanted: Looking for a companion

Hi , Peter here ,solo sailor ,left Nova Scotia on June 28th ,spent 16 days in USA ,1 month in Bahamas ,about 4 months in Cuba and am now in Isla Mujeres , Mexico ,heading south in a month or so for Panama with lots of stops on the way . I`m 58 ,in good health and retired from the Canadian Coast Guard , I`m on my own boat ,A 1980 36 Hunter which I`ve owned for 10 years . Have over 100,000 mile under my keel in a 39 year period that I have owned my own boat looking for a companion for some cruising.I can fill in more details when you contact me .

Hi , I`m currently in Isla Mujeres , Cancun ,Mexico and will be til the end of the month or so . Hi Peter,
Just curious, new to this site. I have off shore racing and cruising experience as well as one crossing, Bermuda to Boothbay. Also, have enjoyed the Heineken Regatta in St. Maarten the past 3 years. I am not in a position to retire but dream about the day I am living your lifestyle. Good Luck finding your first mate!

Thanks ,Maura ,doesn`t seem to be many takers . Someone is going to miss out on a great adventure , should have said I`m rich and all expenses paid but then reality set in and I figured out I`m not in Kansa anymore , Dorothy . I`ll supply food and fuel , got to have that anyway .

Hi Peter,

When you state 'in a month or so' in your Dec. 31st thread, are you thinking January 31st?

I am interested but would only be available from mid-February for about 1 month.

I have some sailing experience, am also 58, in decent fitness and soooo tired of the cold, damp weather here in Ottawa.
