The whales are really incredible!! We literally sailed with Daddyd, Mama, and Baby whale from Zihuatanejo to Acapulco last month. They literally went almost right alongside us...They stayed in Acapulco for about a week---dunno where they went after that...probably headed back north.

Couple in Placencia, Belize looking for 3rd hand to travel north as far as Isla Mujeres, Mexico soon. Current check out date from Belize is March 06. May extend if join up time is needed. Plan to sail from Isla to Texas in April or May and will need two crew. Wife will be flying home from Cancun before Gulf crossing. Isla Mujeres is fantastic place to spend some time. Should be space enough on boat for that stay. Our boat is a 1973 Islander 36'. Great solid blue water sailer.
