Crew Wanted: Jacksonville Day sailing/Coastal Curising

I have 3 to 4 days a week to Sail locally. Brunswick or St Augustine A day or two at a time. I have a Hunter 31 and am looking for opportunities to take her off shore.

Hey I may be interested, how experienced of a sailor are you?

I bought my boat about a year ago. I completed a couple sailing courses with windward sailing to learn the fundamentals. I motored Sandy up the ICW from St Augustine to Fernandina. Have logged a little over a hundred hours under sail. Sailed the ICW from Fernandina to St Marys Harbor and back. Spent 3 nights at anchor off Cumberland. Have seen 3 Submarines and been in the ocean 3 times. Was in the ocean 1 day after the Hurricane passed Bermuda in 2014 so I could experience 4to6 foot seas with the expectation the weather would get better if some thing happened. I have learned how to do all the repairs on the boat. I rebuilt the top end on the engine, I have cleaned up electrical messes former owners have created. Have been a mechanical engineer for 30 years.

I have a week of sailing experience last year in the Florida Keys, was on a 48' Trimaran for 6 weeks last fall, and other random boating experience... if you are interested let me know how to get in touch with you to plan a trip, thanks!
