Ionian, Greece this summer

Would you like to spend the summer sailing throughout the magical islands of the Ionian, Greece? Perhaps look for the route that Odysseus took? Visit village harbours with tavernas right next to our boat or quiet anchorages where we can swim in crystal clear water. We will be sailing from Aktio (10 minutes from the airport) to Corfu, then slowly south as far as Zakinthos or perhaps even further. Come for a week, a month or the whole summer. Shared expenses, shared work, shared fun. Send me an email or a PM. for more information. http://www.cruisingoneidos.blogspot.ca

I also get the blog is locked message. I can't go, but I spent a week in the Ionian years ago so I thought I'd have a look at your blog.

I would be available late June for six months. I live in Bluffton, SC. Will you be renting a boat in the Med? Would be good to meet before if possible.

Re: Ionian, Greece this summer

Sounds like a great way to spend the summer. I am just returning to sailing (prior experience mostly smaller boats and windsurfers), but love the sea. I snorkle and scuba.

I am looking to learn much more about sailing and looking to develop sufficient skills and experience that will allow me to consider acquiring a boat and sailing in multiple global destinations.

If 58 and inexperienced as a live aboard cruiser, isn't an issue, please let me know.

Political Correctness
Is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority,
and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream
media, which holds forth the position that it is entirely
possible to pick-up a turd by the clean end.

PS: if you have room on your boat for crew let me know.

Re: Ionian, Greece this summer

Planning to launch my first sailboat this spring on the Black Sea, I intend to create an exhaustive guide for the western coast, from Turkey to Danube River. Hope to have it finished by June. As they say, August is the safest port at Black Sea, you could find great places and lots of space when the Med is crowded.

Re: Ionian, Greece this summer

Hello there blue water experienced, mature, friendly, female, I was sole navigator, using CMAPS and I was responsible for ship supplies and cooking. I am never ever sea sick and I love being out at sea. Was part of a 3 man crew member on brent swain 35ft steel cutter, traveling from Portugal to Brazil.

Would love to come sailing with you?

Best Wishes
