Heading West? South Pacific Crossing
Hi all I´m a 30 yr old adventurous girl from UK currently traveling in Peru, trying to work my way over the Pacific from Ecuador/Panama to Nz or Oz. Always dreamt of crossing an ocean with the wind, I´ve got some sailing experience as a deckhand island hopping around the BVI, Ionian and Dalmation Islands although no proffessional sailing quals. Good cook; first aid quals; 7 years experience teaching outdoor education, art and drama; excellent with kids; basic Spanish; willing to pay my way foodwise etc... enthusiastic and keen to learn more, happy to turn my hand to whatever is needed - do you need an extra pair of hands? will be lurking round Ecuador from August 2011 onwards looking out for a boat to jump on, I´ll scrub your decks up good! Aiming to be in NZ by Xmas, any takers?

We will be leaving Panama in March for long trip to OZ then NZ in December. We are currently in Mexico waiting out the whirlies and cruising Sea of Cortez. My partner is a Child Phsycopherapist and Teacher and I an Engineer, Delivery Skipper, Teacher etc... I have extensive experience but my partner little but learning fast.
