Hello all, I am a 22 year old adventure seeker who just recently completed my first sailing trip (Hawaii to Fiji) on a 42ft Hunter sailboat. It was an amazing experience and now I have the travel bug. I will be graduating university mid-December 2013 and am looking to travel by boat to my next destination. I really do not have any particular place in mind and am open to wherever you would like to travel to. Like I said, my only experience was a 22 day trip as part of a 3 man crew from Hawaii to Fiji, but I am a healthy and fit person that will be able to help you during your journey. I am located on the east coast of the United States, but I do not care about traveling to where you are so I can build up my sailing resume! Let me know when and where you are going, and I will let you know if I can join your adventure!

I am looking at a 40' hunter, i intend to sail from Tx to the Virgin Islands.
How did the hunter do that you were on? any problems?
I want to sail for a while around local, then take off.....wanna go?

Hi Joe,
The Hunter performed great on the journey! There were no major problems during the trip. We had one problem with the bilge pump during some heavy weather, but once the ocean settled down the pump started working again. Other than that it was smooth sailing! I would love to go on your trip to the Virgin Islands. Have you done any sailing before or had any other boats? I will pm you my email so we can communicate through there.
