Saludos Sailors,
I'm trying to sound out the feasibility of participating in this year
Galapagos Cup, starting out in Salinas;
Ecuador on Sept. 27TH and and ending Aug. 8Th.
Here is the deal: We would need 3 experienced sailors willing to accept cost sharing; joining the
boat in Lima
Peru around Sept. 10Th in order to get familiarized with crew and vessel, and sailing the
boat back to it's port of departure.
This is a unique opportunity to visit the
Galapagos by boat, given, that for the
race, all the bureaucratic formalities and difficult paper works in order to get a
permit, will be waved.
The Sailboat is a
Beneteau 44'
Oceanis with 3 cabins and heads, magnificently equipped, from
water maker to all kinds of
power generating devises.
