Re: From the San Juans to Port Orchard Washington
Need to know what boat and perticulars I'm moored in port orchard. Used to overnight in appletree cove then down agate pass to port orchard. Possible overnight in Brownsville depends on tides thru agate passage.

Re: From the San Juans to Port Orchard Washington
The forecast looks good for the next 6 days. How can I get this done?

Re: From the San Juans to Port Orchard Washington
We moved the boat this weekend. The weather was perfect but the winds were light.

Re: From the San Juans to Port Orchard Washington
Excellent! It was great weather (for a change). Sunny, no wind, and warm. I'm sure it was a few degrees cooler on the water though.

Re: From the San Juans to Port Orchard Washington
The weather was excellent except for sailing. We had really light winds and motored the entire way. I put the sails up twice when the wind picked up maybe to 8 knots and then it died again. I felt like a doofus motoring around with the sails flapping around for a half an hour so I took em down twice. We passed a few sailboats with us only motoring around 6. So I have yet to sail her.

I'm hoping to get free local crew who will do it for the experience but if I have to pay a captain then I will. I'll cover all boat expenses: fuel, food and whatever. I will be on board. PM me.
After that I'll be looking for some sailing buddies to help me take her out for day sailing on the nice days.

Hello, Just checking to see if you still need crew. I myself am 33 male. no drugs, non-smoker, clean tidy etc. I have extensive off-shore exp. and inland Columbia/straight of Juan de fuca/Puget Sound. I am currently in Portland, Available and flexible. Don't require any pay maybe just traveling expenses. If needing more crew I have a person I work with who is also willing to crew for free and gain time/experience. If in need of a capt. I can probably supply as well. Capt is USCG licensed and well exp in Sailing and motor vessels. We just completed a delivery of a 34' trawler from Portland, Or to Olympia Wa. Rough weather, lumpy seas, no problem. If interested and still looking for crew contact me to discuss further. you can mail or call/text 541-228-2979
