Crew Wanted: From New Zealand to Patagonia

Looking for crew...one man and one woman, (but NOT a couple)....
Approximate age 55 - 65

A bit of experience would be great, but you don't have to be 'an old salt'
We would expect crew to pay for their own travel to and from the yacht, and we would expect crew to pay an agreed to, daily amount towards the cost of food.
We would also expect the crew to be able to show they have the finances to cover any off yacht expenses they may incur.

For now we are in the PLANNING stage, looking to see if there is any interest out there.

The planned route is...... Depart Wellington New Zealand, then up towards the Cook Islands, then down to Easter Island and across to Puerto Montt Chile, down to Tierra del Fuego to enjoy Patagonia.
Then it's back up to Puerto Montt and onwards and upwards to Panama Canal and the back to New Zealand.

We would like the crew to be involved with the route planning (but we do not want to sail into the Southern Ocean) Crew will be expected to take a part in the day to day running of the yacht...watch keeping, cooking, sailing etc etc.

The reason for looking for crew is Carol no longer wishes to do off shore sailing, while I still places to which I wish to sail.

We did a blog for part of our last trip...New Zealand to China and back.

Do you have a time frame for when you will be starting this trip and roughly how long you plan to take?

Hi Meandercp,
Departure would not be before September 2014. The length of the trip from New Zealand to Puerto Montt would be approximately two months.
The entire time frame for the trip to and from New Zealand is approximately two years.
