Crew Available: For West-Bound Atlantic Crossing from Nov '11, or Potentially Anywhere in the World

Hi there,

My name is Troy, I’m a 32 year old Aussie looking to get some real offshore sailing experience in late 2011. Ideally I would like to join the ARC and cross the Atlantic, however I would be just as happy with a non ARC or delivery crossing. I am open to other options potentially anywhere in the world as well in late 2011.

I am living in London at the moment working in Finance but my time here is coming to an end. Come November time I will be free to chase my dreams. If a passage was available on a UK or even European based boat I could make myself available for a catch up and practice sail or 2 to see if I make the grade.

I am your typical easy going, hard working Aussie. I keep fit and don’t smoke. I like a good yarn and a good time but I’m also considerate and respect peoples privacy and quiet time. I’ve travelled the world to about 60 countries and am pretty level headed even in high stress situations. I love fishing and catching all types of seafood and I’m pretty handy in the galley. I have my PADI licence and first aid certs. I have RYA day skipper and VHF radio qualifications and am an active Dinghy sailor. Oh and don’t get sea sick and love the ocean which is a bonus.
