I looked into this route
for a delivery
a couple years ago. I coundn't find much information on it then found out why. People just don't sail that way. Most reach S. America via Europe
and a southern, westward trans-Atlantic. Sailing to S. America is no problem, but your intended route
, east then south along the coast of South America
, you'll be fighting the Gayana current
and prevailing winds. You'll also have to cross the mouth of the Amazon river. That has turned many boats around on it's own. The boat
I was going to deliver ended up going by truck.
Regardless, good luck and fair winds. It'd be a heck of an adventure!
