Be careful, not all men are Gentlemen, maybe look for a boat that has a family aboard.
If the wife sees the title of the post, I don't think the wife wants her to come on board. It may be just different culture and may be I am just too old and have seen so many bad happenings.

I too have a daughter who is a 3rd med student. I don't think she needs to use this type of catchy title to get ahead.

I have no doubt the OP must have good grades.

wow... so many comments on the catchy title. you know.. people are so eager to advise you when you are a newbie on this kind of forum.

"girls lighten up the mood on a boat - let people know that you are a girl from the beginning"
"be flexible about itinerary and scedule"
"people respond well to humor - be funny!"

had I known that this kind of "adwise" would rock the boat like that I would have reconsidered the title and perhaps a few lines in my thread.

I was also waiting to see if you would return and now you have and as having met with boatman several times, I concur with others that boatman would be a good way to experience some real sailing.

I understand he is about to depart very soon so don't delay.

It seemed like yesterday and it was a short two months...
and what about the the time in Albany...
So a couple of hours one time and a couple of months the first time = several times

Is that meant to be a little curt? Dean had it wrong, the deck keeps rolling and I'm on the hill.

Sorry it just looked curt, probably an inside joke.

Didn't know Martin didn't like boats. Just trying to make lite of it being a non rolling deck I can't hold on to. Probably why I chimed in.

What are you trying to do? Educate a 71 yr. old. I had to look up Jurgens. I'll file it with my vast knowledge of useless info.. Hell, may come up on a cross word puzzle. Thanks for the good comeback. I think we started with the young lady that we all hope gets the right berth.

Hey Ditte, sorry for the the thread drift in your otherwise fine thread

@ Cadence, yep, inside joke and possibly better described as "cute" but that's only for the joke, not Boaty - no one I know would ever describe him as cute 'cept perhaps a girlfriend (or two)

@ Wotname - I consider it a useful lesson on the tone at sea you might as well learn the hard way. maybe not the introduction to sea life I expected but none the less educational
besides - you guys are funny.
