you know.. people are so eager to advise you when you are a newbie on this kind of forum.

"girls lighten up the mood on a boat - let people know that you are a girl from the beginning"
"be flexible about itinerary and scedule"
"people respond well to humor - be funny!"

had I known that this kind of "adwise" would rock the boat like that I would have reconsidered the title and perhaps a few lines in my thread.

I was also waiting to see if you would return and now you have and as having met with boatman several times, I concur with others that boatman would be a good way to experience some real sailing.

I understand he is about to depart very soon so don't delay.

Didn't know Martin didn't like boats. Just trying to make lite of it being a non rolling deck I can't hold on to. Probably why I chimed in.

@ Cadence, yep, inside joke and possibly better described as "cute" but that's only for the joke, not Boaty - no one I know would ever describe him as cute 'cept perhaps a girlfriend (or two)
