Aloha from Maui,
We are a father (49) / son (20) team with passports that have yet to be stamped. I (the father) have 6 years on big boats (USN) son is a
novice, lots of inland and coastal experience (rusty, but still viable) and we are looking to crew in any role needed to gain more experience and have some adventure. We are going to build our own
blue water trimaran and need
blue water experience. We both know our knots, lots of energy and stamina, good creative cooks, pick up on anything taught like greased lightening and have cool heads that do not panic and can analyze a situation and pick the optimum solution. We are not drinkers, minimal drama, not fighters, but we can protect the
boat and crew very well if the need arises.
We would love someone passing by Maui (or
Hawaii in general) for an easy pickup but can travel if needed to p/u location. We can cover our
food and board (within reason as I am unemployed at the moment) no pay needed (but if offered....) We are a healthy and prudent choice for anyone to pick as crew members for a journey
