My wife and I plan to return to our boat
, currently on the hard
in Virgin Gorda, in December.
While our plan is to fly down, we would be interested in joining someone headed relatively directly that way instead if plans match up right. That might allow us to take a few extra boat parts
, tools, etc, in excess of what we could take on the airlines.
We sailed our 2007 Beneteau
50 from Charleston, through the Bahamas
, T&C, DR, PR, and into the Virgins from November of 2013 to July of 2014.
Departing from anywhere in the US is probably fine, as long as it doesn't end up costing us more to get there than it would to fly down with all of our stuff
We can leave any time after December 7.
I know it is a long shot, but better to ask than to run into someone in the BVI
and find out they soloed the whole way while we paid for plane tickets and couldn't bring the things we wanted to
